
Interventional Pain Academy: 4th Cadaver Workshop Led by WIP-CS Members
We are pleased to announce that the Interventional Pain Academy (IPA) will host its 4th Cadaver Workshop on November 6–7, 2025, at the WARSAW LAB – Practical Medicine Institute, near Warsaw, Poland.
This hands-on educational event will be held under the leadership of members of the Czech-Slovak Section of the World Institute of Pain (WIP-CS). The Workshop Chair will be Dr. Michal Matias, MD, FIPP, and he will be joined by other respected WIP-CS faculty members, including Dr. Juraj Mlaka, MD, FIPP, Assoc. Prof. Ladislav Kočan, MD, PhD, FIPP, Dr. Martin Griger, MD, PhD, FIPP, and others.
Focused on Practical Skills for Clinical Use
The workshop is tailored for physicians interested in advancing their skills in minimally invasive interventional pain procedures. Participation is strictly limited to 20 physicians, ensuring an exceptional faculty-to-delegate ratio of 2:1. Small group training (max. 4 per station) provides a highly personalized and interactive educational experience across five cadaver stations, each supervised by experienced FIPP instructors.

- Transpedicular Basivertebral Nerve Ablation (BVN)
- Resadisc®: Radiofrequency treatment of discogenic low back pain
- 7StarScope: Unique needle-sized endoscope with ultrasound navigation
- Epidural, facet, and SI joint injections
- Intra-articular injections (knee, shoulder, hip, elbow)
- Peripheral nerve stimulation techniques
