One Man Show Vol. III - Symposium Split 2025: v medicíně bolesti - úvahami o inovacích a spolupráci

Třetí edice One Man Show byla utvářena méně ve formátu běžné konference a více v duchu společného think tanku založeného na vzájemném respektu, sdílených znalostech a jednotném odhodlání rozvíjet péči o pacienty na celém světě.

V čele s Dr. Robert Rapcan, MD, FIPP, MBA, PhD, sympozium bylo příkladem jeho vize etického, inovativního a dostupného lékařského vzdělávání. Pod jeho vedením se podařilo vytvořit prostředí, v němž se mohla rozvíjet multidisciplinární odbornost.

Významným bodem programu byla aktivní účast členů české a slovenské sekce Světového institutu bolesti., kteří významně přispěli sdílením svých klinických zkušeností a vědeckých poznatků. Jejich zapojení nejen obohatilo vzdělávací obsah, ale také posílilo hodnotu přeshraniční spolupráce v oblasti intervenční léčby bolesti.

Od vize ke skutečnosti: Regenerativní medicína v léčbě bolesti

Hlavním cílem sympozia bylo kriticky prozkoumat vyvíjející se úlohu regenerativní medicíny v léčbě chronické bolesti. Během čtyř intenzivních dnů se na programu objevily vědecké přednášky a praktické workshopy věnované novým metodám, včetně plazmy bohaté na krevní destičky (PRP), léčby kmenovými buňkami, a biologických inovací.

Kromě prezentace aktuálních důkazů a výsledků výzkumu řečníci zdůraznili translační cesty od stolu k lůžku pacienta - zdůraznili klinický význam regenerativních zásahů a jejich rostoucí dopad na výsledky pacientů.

Důležité je, že členové české a slovenské sekce Světového institutu bolesti made significant contributions to this dialogue, actively participating in lectures, discussions, and procedural workshops. Their expertise enriched the academic environment and underlined the importance of regional leadership within the broader international framework.

Keynote Experience – Dr. Peter S. Staats: Merging Science and Humanity

The keynote address by Dr. Peter S. Staats, MD, MBA, FIPP, ABIPP, provided both intellectual depth and emotional resonance. Reflecting on his personal journey as a physician and researcher, Dr. Staats bridged the human and scientific dimensions of medicine in a talk that culminated in an inspiring overview of bioelectricity as a transformative frontier in chronic pain management.

His address sparked dynamic conversation across sessions, embodying the symposium’s ethos: that clinical excellence thrives where scientific innovation and personal purpose intersect.

Each presentation was followed by dynamic Q&A sessions, underscoring not only scientific depth but also the ethical and practical considerations central to the field’s advancement.

The symposium’s invitation-only format fostered a focused and collegial atmosphere, encouraging candid exchange among participants.
